The elves here at the The Lutheran Schools Partnership and The Lutheran SGO of Indiana have been very busy processing year-end gifts for donors wanting to complete their support of Lutheran education by December 31.
We took a quick break from our spreadsheets and thank-you letters to provide the following list of reminders and helpful hints to help ensure your wishes are completed for the 2013 calendar year: Any gift by check needs to be postmarked by December 31. Make sure any checks written are actually written to the correct organization. Any gift by credit or debit card online needs to be processed by December 31. Plan gifts of stocks, mutual funds, and IRA distributions to allow for processing and transfer time.
