The day is drawing closer for TLSP’s inaugural VIP Signature Event, Boldly ad without Fear.”This event will occur in the concourse level of Parkview Field, Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 5:30-9:30 PM. At that time, we will hear from the Rev Dr Gregory Seltz. His message is sure to resonate as he encourages us with similar words recorded frequently in the Bible, “Do not be afraid.” The event will respect the guidance of health officials. Some suggest that there are 365 mentions in the Bible of “Do not be afraid.” Frankly, the suggestion seems to be more of a social media “Gotcha” than the reality of a Bible-verse-a-day remedy to fear. However, there is no doubt that fear is a subject addressed by prophets, angels and Jesus himself.
The remedy to fear is Jesus himself and Jesus is the reason our schools exist. While strong academics, virtuous fine arts, extracurricular sports and early childhood programs are strengths of our schools, what sets our schools apart is we share Jesus.
