The Lutheran Schools Partnership will host the first annual SGO Thanksgiving Event: Sharing God's Opportunities at 6:30 p.m. on November 7, 2013 in the IPFW International Ballroom. The event will include dinner and a presentation from Tim Goeglein, former Fort Wayne resident and faith-based liaison for President George W. Bush. He currently serves as vice president of external affairs for Focus on the Family.
The event is free to anyone who donated to one of the area Lutheran schools' Scholarship Granting Organization funds between November 2012 and June 2013. The event is also open to anyone who wants to learn more about Scholarship Granting Organizations ("SGO") and how they can impact the donor and scholarship efforts. Before the evening's main event, an optional meet-and-greet reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Mr. Goeglein. Patrons will enjoy complimentary refreshments and receive a free copy of his book. The cost for this optional portion of the evening is $40 per person or $75 per couple. Did you not receive an invitation, but think you should have? Do you wish to attend as an SGO prospect? Did your school principal invite you? Contact us at (260) 203-4510 or e-mail jond@tlspartnership.org to make a reservation. Many thanks to our sponsors: Thrivent Financial, Carrie Gutman and Randy Kammeyer of Hawk, Haynie, Kammeyer & Chickadantz, The Nichols Company and Central Lutheran School. Their support of this first-time event allows patrons to attend at no charge.
