Our schools are working hard to connect with congregational members, alumni, and other donors that want to support quality, Christian education. Whether or not your grandchildren attend these schools, you are an alum, you have attended their associated churches, or have heard about how fun their events could be, consider supporting Lutheran education while having a good time and meeting folks from other school families. Even if the event is passed, you can still send in a gift online or in the mail.
As Ashley Graf, an alumni of Fort Wayne-area Lutheran education and beyond, noted during this video of our VIP Event on August 28 (fast-forward to 52:53): “Be proud of this community, be thankful, and be supportive... The schools here are worthy of prayers, volunteerism, and support.”
First, some recent event highlights:
Bethlehem Lutheran, Ossian:
On November 6, Bethlehem Lutheran School, Ossian, held its “All Fun & Games Silent Auction and Gala” at The Lighted Gardens. Not only did they have auction items and a meal, but they also featured entertainment from comedian, Shawn Reynolds. Bethlehem Lutheran School has had several successful events at the Lighted Gardens over the past year, and this year’s event was considered another success, and they could your support as well here.
-----
Lutheran South Unity School, Fort Wayne:
LSUS came back after a year or so off due to COVID with their annual “Let the Children Come” event on Saturday, November 13 at the Grand Wayne Center downtown Fort Wayne. Nearly 100 people attended to support the school and hear guest speaker of NINE urban ministries Pastor Lewis King. They are still finalizing their results, so go to their website here and learn how you can still support Lutheran education on the south side of Fort Wayne.

Maybe you missed the above events this time around, but here are some upcoming events that you can still consider supporting:

Live & silent auctions, entertainment by Smooth Edge 2, and a dinner featuring Nelson’s Chicken should make every reader’s mouth water. Visit the website to learn more.
-----
