Strategic Planning Workshop with Dr. Kurt Senske

Following on our successful 2025 workshop on Effective Board Governance, the iLead Steering Team is thrilled to invite you to attend a Strategic Planning Workshop featuring Dr. Kurt Senske.

This workshop is scheduled for Thursday, September 17th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Promise Lutheran Church, 7323 Schwartz Rd. Fort Wayne, IN 46835. Light breakfast items will be available beginning at 8:30 AM, and lunch will be provided.

All organizations, be they churches, schools, or service organizations, find themselves somewhere on the continuum of the strategic planning journey. Whether your organization has a completed strategic plan or whether you’re wondering where to start, we’re confident that you and your organization will benefit from participation in the workshop. To maximize the benefits of the workshop, we are encouraging organizational leaders to attend together with 3-4 board members. There will be opportunities throughout the day to discuss strategic planning concepts and apply them to your situations and circumstances.

Dr. Senske is an accomplished leader, and the founder/principal of a consulting firm serving mission-oriented organizations. He serves as the Board Chair of Lutheran Hour Ministries, and for 23 years served as the CEO of Upbring (formerly Lutheran Social Services of the South), a multi-state agency with nearly 1,000 employees. Dr. Senske brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, insight, and a practical approach to strategic planning.
