We’re less than a month away from TLSP’s VIP 2022! This year’s VIP Event will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Kruse Plaza, North of Fort Wayne on I-69 at exit 326. Our keynote speaker will be Ms. Mollie Ziegler Hemingway, a Fox News contributor, Editor in Chief of The Federalist, and fellow Lutheran Christian who will help rally us for the future of Lutheran education. Along with Mollie’s inspiring message, TLSP will honor our TLSP Educator of the Year, Natalie Reynolds, share updates on the TLSP ministry and encourage prayers and financial support for Lutheran Schools and TLSP.
Some have wondered aloud why we chose Mollie as our speaker. Frankly, it was an easy choice. Mollie’s dad is a retired LCMS pastor. Her mom is a retired LCMS teacher. Mollie and her husband Mark are LCMS Lutherans. In May of 2021, Mollie received an honorary doctorate from Concordia Theological Seminary. Ms Hemingway is looking forward to talking to VIP attendees about the value of a Lutheran education.
Now in its 3rd year, our VIP event is fast becoming the premiere event for Christians concerned with the state of education in Indiana. Christian education is invaluable, and we need to ensure that Lutheran schools in Northeast Indiana - a part of Northeast Indiana since 1837 - thrive and continue to produce faithful citizens of this world. Our expected 250 attendees will range from ages 25 to 85 and share a love for quality, Lutheran Christian education.
Last year, the Rev. Bart Day (CEO of Lutheran Church Extension Fund) stressed the need to support Lutheran education “with boldness and certainty...standing up, not sitting down.” Help us raise $125,000 this September by STANDING strong and sponsoring our event. Your support will ensure that we can continue to Lead, Champion, and Collaborate with 19 schools, for 350 educators, to ensure that preK - 12 students have what they need to thrive in the world and in Christ.
