The Lutheran Schools Partnership is again hosting the annual Lutheran Schools Night at the TinCaps at Parkview Field on Saturday, August 10, starting at 7:05. You won’t want to miss the fireworks, BirdZerk, and more!
As in previous years, $1 of every $7 ticket purchased will help fund student scholarships at area Lutheran schools. Your support helps families that otherwise could not afford a high-quality, Christian education.Last season, ticket sales helped to raise more than $1,700 for the Lutheran Schools Tuition Assistance Program. That sum was matched by Central and West Allen Thrivent Chapters, as well as Thrivent Financial Inc., yielding nearly $7,000 in total funding for scholarships. This year, those same Thrivent organizations are returning to match our proceeds, and other Thrivent chapters have scheduled additional fun events at the game.Order your tickets by July 4 to be entered in the early-bird drawing for a chance to win autographed team apparel, $50 gift certificates, seat upgrades, and much more. There will also be “random awards” given throughout the game to those wearing Lutheran school spirit gear (including K-8 and high school logo items).This year we're also expecting participation by Lutheran higher-education campuses, including alumni of Concordia University-Chicago, Concordia Theological Seminary, and Valparaiso University.Come see why this is possibly the largest single gathering of Lutherans in northeast Indiana, and help students attend our area Lutheran schools with your ticket purchases.
