LEA 2016 Christus Magister
Mark Muehl was selected by LEA’s board of directors to receive LEA’s top honor, the Christus Magister award. Since 1965, this most prestigious Lutheran Education Association award has been presented to Lutheran educators who have made significant contributions to Lutheran education.
Mark is executive director of The Lutheran Schools Partnership in Fort Wayne, Ind. Previous service includes principal and teacher in schools in Indiana and Illinois. He also has led large VBS programs, seniors’ ministry, Bible studies, and adult day care. Mark is president of the Indiana Non-Public School Association and serves on the Board of Regents at Concordia University Chicago.
Mr. Muehl earned a B.A. in education, specializing in religion and mathematics from Concordia University Chicago and B.A. as a Director of Christian Education, also from Concordia University Chicago
